Me and Dad take on MIAMI!!!

Hey friends!! It has been a while since my last post and for that I apologize! Life just gets busy sometimes, but I think this blog will make up for it.

For one of my Christmas gifts this year, I wanted me and my dad to go to a Miami Dolphins football game. When I finally talked to him about it, he suggested I construct the plans and if it were within reason, we could go. So, of course I went into planning mode and found the best options for me and him to be able to attend the game.

Now, I love the Miami Dolphins and it has a lot to do with the offensive starters; Tua Tagovailoa and Jaylen Waddle. And if you do not know who they are, let us just say they played at The University of Alabama. So, of course I must love them, right?

But that is not all I love about the Miami Dolphins. There is also someone I know that goes by "NFL Man" and his girlfriend is one of my favorite influencers right now on TikTok, Alix Earle. Some of my friends (and me) were disappointed when we realized she could not make the game I was at, but maybe next year, Dad? I also LOVE their head coach, Mike McDaniel.

I decided the best game for both of us would be the Miami Dolphins vs. New York Jets game in Miami on Dec. 17. So, when I got the plans figured out, I talked with Dad again and we finally bought the tickets! We were officially going to the Miami Dolphins game.

We left home early Saturday morning before the game, Sunday, to make the 9-hour drive to Miami (or what we thought would only be 9 hours). We had made it over halfway there when of course we got stuck in traffic, and LOTS of it. But, no worries, we still made it to Miami before it got too late and got plenty of rest for the game the next morning.

We got up early Sunday morning to get ready and headed downstairs to eat breakfast. After breakfast, it was finally time to head to Hard Rock Stadium!! Once we get to the stadium, I was in awe at how pretty it is. I mean do not get me wrong, Bryant Denny will always be number 1 in my heart, but Hard Rock was GORGEOUS.

Since we were so early getting inside the stadium before kickoff, me and Dad decide to shop in the Merch store and get food and drinks. We then headed to our seats just in time for the teams to run out and get the game starting.

Once the game started, it could not have been more fun. With Tua and Waddle's amazing touchdown pass and just getting to see all of this in person; I could not ask for a better Christmas present. I think Dad would agree with me on that as well.

We learned many new traditions that the Dolphins fans do, and we loved every bit of it. The Dolphins won the game 30-0 and we left the game with smiles on our faces. We then walked to our cars to make the long journey back to Opp, Alabama but we would not want it any other way. #FINSUP!!!
